Arrows in Action Have Their Heads In The Clouds, and They're Not Coming Down Anytime Soon

Hot on the heels of a national tour directly supporting fellow alt-rock/pop-punk band Magnolia Park, Arrows in Action have released a new single off their upcoming debut album, Built To Last. "Head In the Clouds" is an upbeat, happy song, straying some from the band’s usually moody and emotional sound. The high energy bop has won the hearts of fans with relatable lyrics and a feel-good tune.

The band describes "Head In the Clouds" as a song that "is about taking an internal stand for yourself" and telling yourself that things will be okay, even when you don’t think you mean it. It’s a song about how sometimes life just feels like you’re going in circles, and you feel like you’re wasting your youth, and how in those moments you just stay high, breathe, and look up. How you may carry your past and your damage everywhere you go, but that doesn’t define who you are.

The music video, filmed by photographer and videographer Hunter Cohen, was recorded on their most recent tour directly supporting Magnolia Park. It features a compilation of funny moments of the band goofing off together. The song has a fun stomp-clap moment during the bridge, where they brought Magnolia Park in to the video to help dance, and stomp, and clap along. Arrows in Action have expressed a lot of excitement in seeing crowd interactions when playing it live during future shows.

Speaking of future shows, the band is going on their very first full US tour this summer, starting July 5th in Dallas, Texas, and finishing August 11th in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets are available now HERE.
