This song comes from her upcoming debut EP "City's Violent". Upon first listening to the song, I was bopping along with the electro beat that assisted the strong vocals. The usage of real thunder sounds in the song draws the listener in, engaging them as this is not typical of most music. The song has themes of longing, imagination, and discovery—topics many can relate to. It is one catchy song, leaving me still humming the beat well after listening. With Chinese wording dotted throughout this new release, she blends parts of her heritage, being both British and Chinese, without them clashing. I am excited about what new releases she will put out leading up to her debut EP that is happening so soon!
